Formed in 2002, FREEBIRD has captivated audiences with their faithful recreations of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s iconic live sound. “From the beginning, we felt the need to deliver the highest quality of music,” says lead singer Al Mazzone, who channels the soulful grit of Ronnie Van Zant.

With a six-member lineup featuring powerful vocals, blazing guitar solos, honky-tonk piano, and a driving rhythm section, FREEBIRD delivers hit after hit—from “Gimme Three Steps” to the unforgettable “Free Bird.” The band continues to sell out theaters and venues across the East Coast and is dedicated to honoring Skynyrd’s musical legacy.
